The original dance show, only one of its kind, to hit Indian Television, Sansui Boogie Woogie, recently completed 10 glorious years. The dance show, that continues to rock the small screen with its undying energy, enthusiasm and great dancing, has over the years entertained and enthralled viewers who are now addicted to this show. Brainchild of the inimitable trio of Jaaved Jaffery, Naved Jaffery & Ravi Behl, over the years Sansui Boogie Woogie has become a platform to showcase talent across all backgrounds, age groups, genders and cities.The show, now in its 11th year, will go bi-weekly, Friday-Saturday at 8.00 p.m. From now on viewers will be treated to great new sets that will give the participants and viewers a feel of a colorful fiesta or mela that calls for celebration at all times. The popularity of the show has helped Sansui Boogie Woogie to come up with an entire new gamut of specials & championships?Kids championships, Group championships, Teen championships, Item numbers, Horror special, Look-alike special, Celebrity special, Family special and recently the Mahayudh and Moms championships.
With Moms championship it became evident that Sansui Boogie Woogie is not just a platform for talented dancers but also a unique platform that gave opportunity to several moms who had put their dancing talent on hold and concentrated on setting up a home for their husbands and children. It was with the Moms championship that these young mothers realized that if you have the talent then all you need is to show it ?and the world and your husbands will be at your feet!
